  • Patrick Crews receives Lifetime Service Award

  • (Atlanta, GA) – Patrick Crews, Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer at LaGrange Banking Company, was recognized recently by the Community Bankers Association of Georgia (CBA) for his 30 years of service to the community banking industry. The CBA paid tribute to bankers who have marked a significant milestone in the banking industry. 

    “The Association is excited to present this new program and recognize Patrick for his commitment to community banking. Our state is very fortunate to have community bankers in the industry such as Patrick who have provided this much needed service to their local communities,” explained Carolyn Brown, President & CEO of the CBA. “It is our pleasure to recognize Patrick’s accomplishments and the inspiration he has been to a new generation of community bankers.”

    Peake Wilson, Vice President of the CBA presented a plaque to Mr. Crews at the bank on Monday, November 21, 2011.  Also, Mr. Crews will be featured in an upcoming issue of the CBA’s Georgia Communities First magazine and the CBA Today eNewsletter.

    Mr. Crews’ banking career began in 1981 at Farmers and Merchants Bank in Dublin; joined C & S Bank, LaGrange in 1985; was Market President for Charter Bank; and, served several years with Commercial Bank and Trust.  Upon its organization in 2008, Mr. Crews joined LaGrange Banking Company and currently serves as their Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer.  A graduate of the University of Georgia, Mr. Crews has served on a variety of local community service activities including Special Olympics (20 years), Twin Cedars Youth Service, Boys and Girls Club of West Georgia, DASH (a local community development organization) and is active with his church.  He currently serves as the President of TAG (Troup Alive and Green).
